Why is washing up so much fun and yet so secretive?
Bathing is one of life's oldest pleasures. The ancient Greeks were the first to invent public showers, and then the Romans created expansive aqueducts that supplied indoor plumbing and bathhouses with water. Historically, bathing and cleanliness were often associated with power, spirituality, and even beauty. Although bathing is considered very much a private matter today, it was a shared ritual for thousands of years. In this series, model M shares images of herself enjoying a good shower and a warm bath.
