A golden rule about fashion is that you should be dressing for yourself first and foremost. You should dress well because it makes you feel good and gives you an opportunity for self-expression. Often womenget dressed and undressed in front of a mirror. The relationship between a woman and her mirror is a special and intimate one, as they use it to express who they wish to be---on the surface at least. The mirror is important because a desire to be seen and reflected is basic and innate. As children, we learn to understand ourselves through the reflections of those around us. Mirrors serve many functions: letting us see ourselves when we put on makeup, wash our faces, try on clothes and much more. This is also true for much of the animal kingdom--peacocks, apes and elephants like to admire their own reflection too. In this series, Dafne the model, tries on two different outfits in front of a fish-shaped mirror. Apparently, neither outfit makes the grade.
