 Mia

Why is the female form considered a symbol of beauty?

These are images of the Bohemian model Mia Sollis taken in September 2019 at a studio in Maasluis. Mia's exceptional beauty aside, why is it that the female form is so often considered a beauty symbol?

The internet defines beauty as: "something is beautiful if it is nice to look at".  From the time of Venus of Hohle Fels
onward, the female form, and especially the female nude, has been used to symbolize beauty, purity and romanticism. In this instance, there can be little doubt that Mia does convey a classical sense of allure, beauty and charm.
