"In three words, I can sum up everything I've learned about life. It goes on."
These are street scenes shot in Holland in April 2020. For all of that month, Holland was in an intelligent lock-down from COVID-19. Schools, government offices, restaurants and most businesses were closed. Everyone was encouraged to stay home, but people were still allowed to go out to shop, to get some fresh air and to run essential errands, provided that social distancing was maintained. Despite Corona's dark and deadly shadow, life carried on. A second set of images were shot in Amsterdam in early June 2020---the lock-down had eased but the city center was very quiet.
