Mirrors are often associated with thought or with the moon, the former because they enable you to reflect yourself, and the latter because of their passive and reflective features. Some stare endlessly at their reflection in the mirror with the old children's adage swirling away in their grey matter--- "mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?"
While some adore mirrors, others---this photographer included--don't. Superficially at least, mirrors remind me of the ravages of time and an ever-growing list of visual faults and flaws. However, for a young attractive model, a mirror is something of a new, best friend. She can use the mirror to adjust her position and expression until she gets her pose just right. And in this series, a model, Sofie, does just that.
