In this series, the Big Fish visits different offices to illustrate the role of power in the workplace, and to show that it is man-made, fragile, and as slippery as a fish in the sea. Sometimes, and this is one of those times, a Big Fish is, well, just a fish-out-of-the-water. This series pays homage to the conceptual artists, Gary Keuhn and Sarah Bereza, and to their book entitled To Have and To Be. Keuhn was a pioneer of the Post-Minimal and Process Art movements of the 1960s. Their book, To Have and To Be, took the fish out of the water to illustrate the difference between what it is that we possess and who we really are.
