Masks have been used since antiquity for both ceremonial and practical purposes. These days, mask wearing has become practically ubiquitous. This leads to the question--when we look in the mirror, what do we see?
Is it the mask we wear to face the world, or is it the psychological reality of the person underneath the mask? In this series, a model, Zoi, wears a number of tribal and Mardi Gras masks while she examines herself in the mirror.
